A rare moment was today witnessed during a church service at the ACK Church in Makadara Constituency, Nairobi County, as former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka were blocked from speaking at the church.
Gachagua and Kalonzo were among the political leaders who were in attendance during the Consecration and Enthronement Service for the 3rd Bishop of ACK Nairobi Diocese Ven. Canon Jonathan Kabiru when Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit announced that they were not going to be aloud to make speeches at the church.
Speaking during the service, Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit announced that no political leaders will be allowed to make speeches at any Anglican Church's congregation but they were free to address crowd outside the church's premises after the service.
He also announced that they were not going to allow anybody to announce the amount of money that they were going to give as offerings at the church.
