In his recent political remarks, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has adopted an easy tone, indicating a change in his attitude toward President William Ruto. The question stands, has Gachagua finally accepted Ruto's governance after months of harsh criticism? He reaffirming that the President is free to tour around the Mount Kenya region without interference.
Gachagua further stated that the government is still required to carry out the development projects Ruto pledged and those initiated by the retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In response to this, political analysts speculate that Gachagua's change maybe orchestrating an attempt to stop the opposition from leveraging on his comments. His fewer media appearances and criticism may also suggest that his political approach can probably be shifted.
