Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has toured Kajiado wooing Kenyans to support his new political party, set to be launched in May, promising it will be the best remedy for the ruling Kenya Kwanza.
Gachagua stated that the party will field candidates for all positions, with the goal of sending the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) goes home come 2027.
Impeached deputy president revealed that his new party will include strong leadership from Kajiado.
Tutasimamisha mtu kutoka Rais, Governor, Senator, Mbunge, Women Rep mpaka MCA Mko tayari?"
Gachagua threw jabs at the Head of State, ahead of his Mount Kenya tour accusing him of making empty promises.
"Yule jamaa pia alidanganya mimi…alikuja na bibilia akasema mwathani agochwo tukafikiria ni mkristo, kumbe alikuwa ni fisi amevaa ngozi ya kondoo," he said..
Gachagua seemed to be changing his tone on prioritizing a Mt. Kenya agenda, calling for unity among Kenyans and an end to ethnic divisions.
He stated: "Nataka muungane muishi pamoja na muoane na kuondoa ukabila."
