Napoli are reportedly gearing towards signing AC Milan stiker Noah Okafor if Allan Saint-Maximin's deal doesn't go through.
According to reports from Italy, Napoli have ‘booked’ Okafor's transfer from Milan, and are still looking for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Swiss international was close to departing during the current window, with a move to Bundesliga's RB Leipzig falling apart right at the end. He even flew to Germany to undergo a medical with the Bundesliga side but had to fly back less than 24 hours.
Leipzig seemed to leak that it was due to an unsatisfactory medical ,which Milan took a shot at , but as revealed there was a late attempt to change economic aspects of the operation.
According to Sky, Okafor is not Napoli’s primary target, as the Serie A leaders are still trying to reach a full agreement for Fenerbahce loanee Saint-Maximin, who is under contract with Al-Ahli.If the deal to sign the Frenchman on loan collapses, Napoli are ready to sign Okafor.
Milan have identified Chelsea’s Joao Felix as the ideal replacement for Okafor, so the Portuguese’s agent Jorge Mendes is working on a possible deal with the Blues.
