Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Salim Mvurya has outrightly accused former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua of inciting the public against President Ruto by masterminding anti Ruto's slogans.
During a press briefing in Nairobi, Mvurya accused Gachagua of sponsoring goons to chant " Ruto Must Go". A move that was a threat to the nation.
“These actions are not only divisive but also dangerous to our national unity. We must call out such political games for what they are—attempts to undermine the President and the progress we are making as a country,” he said.
He also advised political leaders to concentrate on the wellbeing of Kenya rather than “destructive politics.”
These allegations means an increased political hostility between the two factions , as Kenya watches on what to be unveiled in the forthcoming days.
