DAMA WA SPARES PUTS KARANGU MURAYA ON THE SPOT OVER LEAKED AUDIO

Entrepreneur Dama wa Spares has called out gospel singer and philanthropist Karangu Muraya over a leaked audio of a private conversation with his estranged wife, Triza Njeri.
In a strongly worded message, Dama accused Karangu’s second wife, Carol Kim, of being behind the leaks and questioned why Muraya had recorded such intimate exchanges in the first place. She urged him to take responsibility instead of shifting blame to bloggers, warning that his reputation and family could suffer lasting damage.
“No blogger can access your private phone unless you or someone close to you releases the content,” she said, advising Muraya to keep his marital issues off social media and to focus on peaceful co-parenting.
The leaked recording, which surfaced online last week, captures an emotional Triza saying she was at breaking point and hinting that she would “become history” if the turmoil continued.
Muraya, in an emotional Facebook Live on Monday, admitted he had recorded the conversation years ago when their child was barely two months old, claiming he did so for his own protection in case things escalated. He insisted he did not leak the audio and appealed for privacy, saying the matter had already deeply affected his children.
“Please leave me alone. Do not beat a man when he is down,” Muraya said tearfully, adding that his daughter had been left in tears after hearing about the saga.
The controversy has reignited debate on the dangers of airing private disputes in public and the toll such scandals take on personal brands and families.
