Elephant Kills A Man in Machakos

A 46-year-old man has been tragically killed by an elephant in Masinga, Machakos County.
The authorities said that the incident happened in Kwakyumbo village, located in Kyondoni, Kivaa Location.

The elephant was first spotted early Tuesday morning by local residents, some of whom attempted to chase it away.

However, it soon turned on the crowd, resulting in the victim’s immediate death.

The elephant then moved into Thaana Nzau Location in Mwingi, where it injured another man who was later found in a bush.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers from Mwea Game Reserve have since arrived on the scene to assess the situation.
