IEBC LAUNCHES ONLINE PORTAL FOR VOTER INFORMATION VERIFICATION

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has activated its official online voter verification portal, allowing registered voters to confirm their details ahead of upcoming electoral activities.
Through the portal, Kenyans can now verify their voter registration status by visiting https://verify.iebc.or.ke. Voters are required to input their National ID or passport number, along with their year of birth, to access their registration information.
Once the correct details are entered, the portal displays the voter’s full name, polling station, ward, constituency, and county of registration.
This initiative is part of IEBC’s efforts to enhance transparency and ensure the accuracy of the voter register. The commission has urged all registered voters to confirm their details and report any errors before the electoral roll is finalized.
“In case of any discrepancies or missing data, we advise voters to reach out to IEBC immediately through our toll-free number 1543, email info@iebc.or.ke, or visit the nearest IEBC office,” the commission stated.
The voter verification portal is accessible 24 hours a day during the official verification period. IEBC emphasizes that timely verification helps prevent disenfranchisement and promotes credible elections.
For those without internet access, voter information can also be verified through designated IEBC centers countrywide.
