Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has made it clear that he will only work with President William Ruto under strict conditions.
The former vice president, while addressing supporters over the weekend, said he is only open to engaging Ruto if it's about appointing a neutral and independent IEBC — or when Ruto is handing over power in 2027.
“The next time I meet Ruto will be when he is handing over instruments of power,” Kalonzo declared.
He dismissed any efforts by ODM leader Raila Odinga to broker talks, insisting only the African Union or the Catholic Church can mediate if the country heads into political turmoil.
Kalonzo firmly stated that he’s not joining government and has no interest in any political deal before the next election.
