KCAA RESUMES EXAM BOOKINGS AFTER MONTH-LONG SUSPENSION

The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has announced the resumption of examination bookings following a 30-day suspension of its Personnel Licensing (PEL) services.
KCAA said the pause, which began on 22 August, was necessary to transition to a fully automated licensing and examination system. With the upgrade still being finalised, the authority will temporarily allow manual bookings to avoid further disruption.
Candidates whose bookings were cancelled during the suspension have been contacted and rescheduled, while those awaiting invoices are being processed. According to the current exam calendar, the next available examination date is set for 2 October 2025.
KCAA added that once the new digital platform is fully operational, all future exam and licensing services will move entirely online.
