KRA OPENS PAID INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR DIPLOMA AND DEGREE STUDENTS

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced paid industrial attachment opportunities for both diploma and degree students, set to run from October to December 2025. The initiative aims to equip young Kenyans with practical skills while supporting the Government’s Youth Initiative to develop talent for the local labour market.

Applications are open to continuing undergraduate students in their 3rd, 4th, or final year, as well as final-year diploma students from recognised universities and colleges. The three-month programme offers hands-on experience across a broad range of disciplines, partially fulfilling academic requirements.

Finance & Business: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing & Communication, Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Counselling Psychology.

Communication & Media: Communications, International Relations, Diplomacy, Public Relations, Media Studies, Photography, Videography, Film Production, Animation.

Hospitality & Services: Food & Beverage, Hotel Management, Housekeeping & Laundry Management, Records Management, Records & Archives, Library & Information Science, Security & Safety Management.

Security & Law: Criminology, Criminal Justice, Forensics, Law.

Technical Fields: ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Land Economics, Property Management, Quantity Surveying, Actuarial Science, Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management.

Science & Education: Education, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Occupational Health, Disaster Management, Stenography.

Eligibility: Applicants must be Kenyan citizens aged 18–35, enrolled in the relevant year of study, possess a valid introduction letter from their institution, and be available full-time during the programme.

Stipend & Requirements: The programme offers a monthly stipend of KSh 7,000 (subject to statutory deductions). Selected candidates must provide proof of personal accident insurance, KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF and NSSF membership, national ID, and bank account details.

Visit KRA e-recruitment portal and register.

Confirm your email and log in to update your Candidate Profile.

Navigate to Employment Opportunities, select the Industrial Attachment posting, and click Apply.

Complete all mandatory fields, accept the Data Privacy Statement, and submit.

The application deadline is Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and KRA does not charge any fee for the process
