KUCCPS RELEASES 2025 KMTC PLACEMENT RESULTS

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released the 2025 placement results for students who applied to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

In a statement issued on July 18, 2025, KUCCPS announced that applicants for the September 2025 KMTC intake can now check their placement results through the KUCCPS Student Portal.

How to Check Placement Results:

1. Visit the KUCCPS website: https://kuccps.net

2. Click on the “Student’s Portal”: https://students.kuccps.net/login

3. Log in using:

KCSE Index Number

KCSE Examination Year (e.g., 2024)

Password (either your KCPE index number or birth certificate number)

4. After logging in, the system will display the institution and course the applicant has been placed in.

KUCCPS also stated that applicants may receive their placement results via SMS.

Application Statistics:

Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba stated that 52,725 qualified students applied for KMTC placement, competing for 34,048 available slots.

Nursing programs were the most popular, attracting over 27,000 applications for a combined capacity of 2,986. Other courses that received a high number of applications include Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Medical Emergency Technician, and Community Health.

KMTC is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Health that trains professionals in various medical disciplines. It operates 90 campuses across the country and offers 126 courses under 18 departments and 7 faculties.
