Malava Member of Parliament, Moses Malulu Injendi, has passed away while undergoing treatment in Aga Khan Hospital. Malulu had been admitted at Aga Khan Hospital for the past 1 and half months. He was suffering from breathing related complications.
In January 2025, the lawmaker was reportedly admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
However, his family through Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa explained that he was in a stable condition.
‘I want to assure our people that we have seen Honorable Malulu Injendi and he is recovering. Doctors have tried their best and they are continuing,” Barasa stated.
Malulu was one of the most educated Members of Parliament, having been recognized among lawmakers with PhD degrees.
He was elected to Parliament under the former Amani National Congress, which later merged with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
