MATHARE MP ANTHONY OLUOCH MOURNS FATHER’S DEATH AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Mathare Member of Parliament Anthony Oluoch is mourning the death of his father, Mzee Charles Antony Ondiek, who succumbed to cancer after a 15-year battle.
ODM leader Raila Odinga, who announced the death on Wednesday September 24, 2025, paid tribute to Ondiek as a “towering pillar of the community,” recalling that they worked together at the Kenya Bureau of Standards in the 1970s.
Condolence messages poured in from political leaders and constituents, who lauded the late Ondiek for his dedication to public service and mentorship.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in the coming days.
