NGUNYI PREDICTS A RUTO-GACHAGUA HANDSHAKE

Political analyst and boss Fort Hall School of Government, Muhahi Ngunyi has predicted a complicated twist that would see a Ruto-Gachagua Handshake ahead of the 2027 elections, and Matiang'i not standing a chance against Ruto.

Taking to his official X page on 4th May, Ngunyi dismissed Uhuru's influence in making , former Interior CS, Fred Matiang'i president. His arguments were based on the failure of former premier, Raila Odinga to be president despite being backed by the then President, Uhuru Kenyatta , in the 2022 elections.

"Matiang'i is an overrated greenhorn. Working with Uhuru, they could not make Raila President. HOW will a deadwood like Uhuru make Matiangi President?" he asked.

Having said this, the analyst concluded that former number two, Rigathi Gachagua, would reach a point of consensus with his former boss, William Ruto, and the end would be a surprising reconciliation between the old time allies ,who fell out after a misunderstanding that saw the impeachment of Gachagua.

"GEMA votes will be delivered by Gachagua. And Riggy G will reconcile with Ruto by 2027. End of discussion!" he finished alleging that Gachagua will be the one to marshal the
Mount Kenya votes to Ruto's advantage.
