POLICE ISSUE ARREST ORDER FOR MUGITHI SINGER AND OFFICER SAMIDOH

Administration and Police Constable Samuel Ndirangu Michuki, widely known as Samidoh has been declared a deserter by the National Police Service after reportedly failing to return from an official off-duty assignment. Samidoh who is attached to the Anti-Stock Theft Unit (MTD Company) was scheduled to resume duty on May 27, 2025 but he did not report back and has since been unreachable. Following his continued absence, the National Police Service, has classified him as a deserter effective June 6, 2025, citing that he has been absent without leave for over 10 days.

The directive originating from StockPol Gilgil, has been circulated to key police units including DISGEN APS, Vigilance House Nairobi, the Central Records Office (CRO) Nairobi, and all Station Police Commanders (stapols) across the country.  Additionally, the pay section has been ordered to immediately halt his salary, while the Stockpol MTD Company has been instructed to commence administrative proceedings. CRO Nairobi is expected to publish the desertion notice in the upcoming edition of the National Police Gazette.

The arrest order comes days after Samidoh posted a cryptic message on his social media, amid reports of a looming transfer to Baringo County. The post was widely interpreted as a sign of resistance to the reported transfer.

Despite the police alert, Samidoh has not publicly commented on his status. However, he appears to remain active online. As of 8.36 am on June 10, 2025, he has posted on Instagram and appears to be in the US where his family currently resides.
