SENATOR METHU MOCKS ICHUNG'WAH OVER THE NYANDARUA HECKLING

In his official X account, Senator John Methu, who is a close ally of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua ,stated that the residents of Nyandarua cannot withstand 'immature' politics, and no amount of money can lure them into backing some leaders.

"Kimani Ichung’wah, I’m so sorry, but Nyandarua doesn't like immaturity. Nyandarua is the home of true defenders," he said.

"The two thousand that we were given was only to listen, the rest of the leaders were to pay separately," Methu added.

The Majority Leader received a hostile welcome in Ol Kalou town, where he had accompanied President Ruto to launch the last-mile connectivity in Nyandarua.

Upon taking the stage, the Kikuyu Law Maker, met jeers and whistles, in response to this, he said that he can't be intimidated by the noise, but the protest grew more tense forcing him to try pacifying them but it bore no fruits.

Ichung'wah was finally overwhelmed and forced to return the microphone with a stern parting shot .
