The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced a major recruitment drive for 507 positions across the country, offering opportunities that range from senior management roles to entry-level jobs requiring only a KCSE mean grade D (plain).
Among the posts open to candidates with a KCSE Grade D are Senior Driver and Senior Office Assistant. Applicants for the Senior Driver role must hold a valid BCE driving licence with no endorsements, an Occupational Trade Test I certificate, and a defensive driving qualification. Senior Office Assistant applicants must demonstrate at least nine years of service and basic computer skills.
Other vacancies target professionals with diplomas and degrees in areas such as finance, ICT, human resources, corporate communications, registration and compliance, and internal audit.
Interested candidates are required to submit applications online via recruitment.sha.go.ke or deliver them physically to the SHA building (10th floor) by October 3, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.. Applications must include academic and professional certificates, a CV, and clearance documents from agencies including KRA, HELB, EACC and the DCI.
SHA says the mass hiring aims to strengthen its workforce ahead of the nationwide rollout of Kenya’s new social health insurance scheme.
