SUDI MEETS JUX

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has shared fascinating details about his meeting with Tanzanian Bongo star Juma Mussa Mkambala, alias Juma Jux.

Taking to his official X account on Saturday night, June 21, 2025, the law maker known for his comic trait jumped into fluent Swahili, revealing that their discussion centered on strengthening East Africa’s music industry.

“Tulitangamana na Juma Mussa Mkambala almaarufu Juma Jux kutoka Jamhuri ya Muungano wa Tanzania ambapo tulijadili jinsi ya kukuza tasnia ya muziki katika ukanda wa Afrika Mashariki. Let’s groove to the rhythms of Africa! BORA NIENJOY,” Sudi tweeted.

This loosely translates as ; “We met with Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux from Tanzania, and discussed ways to grow the music industry across East Africa. Let’s groove to the rhythms of Africa! It’s better I enjoy.”

Their meeting took place during an exclusive VIP engagement ceremony held in Nairobi, attended by President William Ruto. The lavish affair was to celebrate the engagement of Nicole Langat, daughter of business magnate David Lang’at and his wife Hellen Lang’at. Other notable guests included First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, along with dignitaries, family, and close friends.

Following the ceremony, Juma Jux took to his Instagram account to reflect on the experience. He expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome, saying he felt embraced by a new, kind, and loving family.

“Honoured to perform at a beautiful VIP engagement in Nairobi, in the presence of H.E. the President of Kenya. Beyond the music, I gained a new family, humble, kind, and full of love.

Jux , who had attended the event alongside his recently wedded wife, Nigerian Influencer, Priscilla Ojo, further congratulated his hosts.

"Thank you so much for the warm welcome and unforgettable memories. Congratulations to Dr. David (DL) and Hellen Lang’at as they celebrate the engagement of their daughter Eng. Nicole,” Jux posted.
