VERA SIDIKA DATING TIPSY GEE?

Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika has further fuelled speculation about a possible romance with Gen Z musician Tipsy Gee after their previous public appearances together sparked dating rumours, before the socialite later appeared to confirm she had been in a private relationship for the past five months.

The pair, who reportedly began dating around January 2026, had initially denied claims that they were romantically involved despite repeatedly being spotted together in public. Rumours first intensified in March during the World Rally Championship in Naivasha after Tipsy Gee was seen driving Vera’s Range Rover while the socialite carefully concealed his identity in videos shared online.

The speculation grew further after the two were allegedly spotted vacationing together in Malindi before later travelling to Bangkok, Thailand, where their cosy moments once again fueled dating claims. At the time, Vera strongly dismissed the reports, insisting that people had simply “started a rumour.”

“Funny how people spread rumours and lies and then think they did something. Let me make it clear I am not dating Tipsy Gee. Someone started a rumour and everyone just ran with it. Let’s put it to rest,” she said in March.

However, weeks later, the socialite publicly confirmed that she had actually been in a relationship for five months, revealing that the secrecy was intentional.
“Now I’ve been in a relationship for 5 months, and it is beautiful. The beauty of it is the fact that it's very private; people don’t know my business. What people don’t know they can’t destroy,” Vera stated during an interview with Confidential Stories Podcast.

According to Vera, choosing privacy over publicity has completely transformed her perspective on love and relationships. Unlike her previous romances that often played out publicly and ended in dramatic online confrontations, this time she says she prefers peace, emotional maturity and stability.
“Privacy is really essential, especially when it comes to the people you love and care about. When you protect that, you get to enjoy it better,” she explained.

The relationship has nevertheless sparked heated debate online, largely because of the age gap between the two celebrities. Vera is currently 36 years old while Tipsy Gee is reportedly 24, making him twelve years younger than the socialite. Critics questioned why the mother of two would date a younger artist, while others accused her of financially supporting the musician.

But Vera dismissed the backlash, arguing that society unfairly judges women regardless of who they date. She pointed out that when she previously dated older wealthy men, she was labelled a “gold digger,” yet now she is being branded a “sponsor” for dating a younger man.
“What do you want me to be, a gold digger or a sponsor?” she posed while addressing critics online.

The outspoken celebrity further defended her decision by recalling that even her marriage to fellow musician Brown Mauzo — who was closer to her age — still failed despite fitting society’s expectations.
“I even dated someone my age, had two babies and got married. I was loyal for three years, and it did not work out. I have dated all age groups. Whom do you want me to date?” she said.

In one of her now-viral clapbacks, Vera boldly added:
“If you want to date an ancestor, go date them. Let me date a Gen Z.”

Beyond romance, the socialite also hinted at a more serious future with Tipsy Gee. Reports indicate that the young musician has already been seen bonding with Vera’s children, suggesting that the relationship may be growing deeper away from the public eye.

Vera also opened up about her future family plans, revealing that she still hopes to have two more children despite already being a mother of two.
“I always wanted to have four kids; I love kids, so I hope to have two more kids,” she revealed.

Her remarks also reflected a more vulnerable side of the celebrity, who in recent months has spoken openly about painful experiences from her previous marriage. Vera previously alleged that her breakup with Brown Mauzo involved emotional trauma, public humiliation and alleged domestic violence claims that she said deeply affected her mental wellbeing.

She disclosed that stress during the relationship became so intense that it even affected her ability to breastfeed their son comfortably.
The socialite admitted that those difficult experiences changed her outlook on relationships and pushed her toward living a quieter and more intentional life. She said she no longer believes in exposing every detail of her love life online or engaging in messy public breakups.

Despite the noise surrounding her romance with Tipsy Gee, Vera appears determined to live life on her own terms.
