CONSTABLE MUKHWANA SPILLS THE BEANS ON OJWANG'S DEATH

Investigations into the death of Social media influencer Albert Ojwang, have taken another eccentric turn after Central Police Station Constable James Mukhwana accused his boss, OCS Samson Talam of masterminding Ojwang's custodial death.

Speaking to IPOA., the cop who was arrested on 12th, June for involvement in Ojwang's death, revealed a well orchestrated scheme by the Station's Officer Commanding Station (OCS), Samson Talam, to have Ojwang assaulted by fellow inmates.

The 31-year old constable recounted him being summoned to Talam's , where he was then given the liquidation order .

"I asked him what I had done wrong, but he didn’t explain. I followed him to the OCS’s office, and once inside, he locked the door," Mukhwana said.

He went on revealing how, OCS Talam allegedly mandated him to spot long time and trusted remandees to 'rough up' an in coming in mate (the late Ojwang ).

"I want you to go to the cells, identify the remandees, and tell them there’s a job I need them to do. There’s a suspect being brought in, they should rough him up a bit.”

According to Mukhwana, four remandees were used to assault the late and they were allegedly paid Ksh 2000, which was used for buying alcohol.

The junior cop went on exposing a chilling revelation on how OCS Talam is used to receiving orders from his superiors to punish specific inmates .

"When I was at Lang’ata, there was a suspect I had dealt with the same way. I arranged for him to be roughed up, he got injured, and I got him out without it causing any issues," Mukhwana quoted the words of Talam , expressing this as his modus operandi.

He further tried picking up the already broken parts, stating that they had no intention to kill Ojwang but only to 'discipline' him.

“This is the truth of what happened. Ojwang was not meant to be killed but to be disciplined as per the instructions given,” he said.

“I'm sorry for the death of Ojwang. May God help the family to heal from the loss. I know it is painful, " he added expressing his resent .

Preliminary investigations revealed that Mukhwana joined the National Police Service in 2018 and trained at the Administration Police Training College (APTC), now Embakasi A Campus.
