EABL Director John Musunga Resigns

In a statement on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, EABL revealed that Musunga resigned from his role effective March 18, 2025. He had served as a director of the company since July 2023.

“The Board takes this opportunity to thank John for his vibrant, and insightful contributions in the deliberations of the Board as well as the Corporate Governance Committee meetings, and his exemplary commitment to consumers and the community. The Board wishes John the very best for the future.”

In his place, the company has appointed Lorna Benton as a non-executive director.

Benton is currently the Group Performance & Reward Director at Diageo PLC, a role she assumed in April 2023. She previously led Global Reward for WPP PLC and Compass Group PLC, holding senior executive positions. In addition, she serves as an independent member of the Remuneration Committee of the Rugby Football Union.
