ELON MUSK APOLOGIZES FOR HARSH COMMENTS ON TRUMP

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and tech mogul, has issued a public apology after a heated social media clash with President Donald Trump.

In a post shared early Wednesday on X, Musk admitted that some of his comments about Trump “went too far.” He expressed regret, stating, “I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week.”

The apology comes after a dramatic fallout between the former allies. Their dispute erupted over Trump’s signature legislation, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which Musk publicly denounced.

On June 3, 2025, Musk slammed the bill as a “disgusting abomination.” He warned it would dangerously inflate the national deficit by $2.5 trillion over the next decade.

Musk, who recently stepped down from his role at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), criticized the bill for excessive spending and the removal of clean energy incentives.

Trump swiftly responded, calling Musk’s remarks “disappointing” and accusing him of hypocrisy. He suggested their long-standing relationship might be permanently broken.

In a fiery reply, Musk declared, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election.” He accused the president of being ungrateful for his past support.

Musk didn’t stop there. He urged lawmakers to reinstate electric vehicle and solar cuts while slashing “crazy spending” from what he called the “Big Ugly Bill.”

Trump, addressing the media on June 5, said Musk only objected to the bill when he learned the Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate would be reduced. “He had no problem with it, until now,” Trump claimed.
