Gachagua Urges Gen Zs To Register As Voters

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged the young generation in the country to register as voters, as he applauded their engagement in civic education on social media.
Speaking today in Kirinyaga after meeting Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua, Gachagua said that it is only through the ballot that the Gen Zs can help liberate the country, adding that their efforts are good but not enough.

“What you are doing on social media is good but not enough; the actual transformation of this great republic will be on the ballot. The public awareness transformation using the smartphone is good but the real and final transformation of getting a good country with good leaders will be on the ballot,” Gachagua said.
“I ask the Gen Zs to register as voters and come out and vote. If they do they will have completed the journey for us. It is their patriotic duty to make sure they have IDs and have registered as voters.”
Gachagua also promised to work with Karua, citing that Karua has the necessary experience and courage, and that will help Mt Kenya region move forward.
 “We have had a good conversation with Karua and we have agreed going forward we are going to work together with other Kenyans. I want to assure you that many Kenyans are looking for leadership. We will work together with like-minded Kenyans, patriots and people who care for this country,” Gachagua said.
