Justice Gatembu Kairu has been elected as the new President of the Court of Appeal following a closely watched election conducted among judges of the appellate court.
Justice Kairu secured a decisive victory after garnering 26 votes out of the 41 ballots cast. His win marks a significant milestone in the leadership of one of the country's highest judicial institutions.
