Tickets for the upcoming CHAN 2024 Group A match between Kenya and Morocco have officially sold out. The match is scheduled for Sunday , 10 August 2025, at Moi International Sports Centre (MISC), Kasarani, Nairobi.
The Local Organising Committee (LOC) confirmed that over 46,000 tickets were sold through official online platforms. Stadium capacity has been capped at 48,000 seats, in line with updated safety protocols.
Kenya, co-hosting the tournament alongside Uganda and Tanzania, opened its campaign with a 1-0 win over DR Congo. The upcoming Morocco fixture is considered a key decider in the group.
While the sell out reflects strong local support, it has also sparked criticism from some fans who were unable to access tickets. Allegations of bulk purchasing and political interference have surfaced online, although these claims have not been independently verified. The LOC has maintained that all sales were handled transparently through the CAF-approved system.
