The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into various industries is reshaping the employment landscape. While AI is automating certain tasks, leading to the displacement of some jobs, it is also creating new opportunities and roles. The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025 anticipates that by 2030, AI and related technologies will transform 86% of businesses, resulting in the creation of 170 million new jobs and the displacement of 92 million existing ones.
This data suggests a net positive impact on employment, with AI generating more jobs than it eliminates. However, the nature of work is evolving, and there is a growing emphasis on reskilling and upskilling the workforce to align with new technological demands. By 2030, it's projected that 70% of the skills used in most jobs will change, underscoring the need for continuous learning and adaptation.
