MURANG’A COUNTY GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES A FREE SURGICAL CAMP

In a major healthcare initiative, the Murang’a County Government together with Vidha Association and in collaboration with Switzerland doctors and Murang’a health department has announced a free surgical camp focused on reconstructive plastic surgery. The surgeries will take place at Maragua Level 4 Hospital from the 2nd to 11th August 2025. Registration for the camp is already underway and will run from 16th June to 11th July 2025, at the hospital’s outpatient department, rooms 1 and 2. The free medical camp will cater to patients suffering from Lipomas (benign or malignant), scars due to keloids or contractures, facial deformities and minor skin tumors, hand conditions like ganglion cysts and nerve compression, and tissue reconstruction from burns or trauma injuries.

The county government is calling on all eligible patients to take advantage of this life changing opportunity. This initiative marks a continued commitment by the Murang’s County Government to improve public health services and bring quality medical care closer to the people.
