PRITTY VISHY RESUMES OZEMPIC DESPITE GOVERNMENT WARNING

Content creator Pritty Vishy is back on Ozempic, the weight loss drug that has drawn caution from Kenya’s Ministry of Health.

The influencer disclosed on Instagram that she is taking semaglutide shots to manage her weight. She said the move comes after regaining weight during her recovery from recent cosmetic procedures.

Earlier this year, Vishy underwent 360 liposuction and a Brazilian Butt Lift, surgeries that stirred debate online. She revealed she had stopped using Ozempic in April after being advised on weight maintenance strategies.

However, she admitted that her post-surgery recovery made it difficult to control her diet, leading to an eight-kilogram weight gain. Vishy noted she has been back on the shots for five weeks and plans to use them for only a month.

Her decision has renewed concerns over the influence of celebrities on drug use for cosmetic purposes. The Ministry of Health has warned against unregulated use of Ozempic, citing risks tied to misuse without medical supervision.

Vishy maintains that her choice is personal and temporary, but the disclosure has reignited public debate over the balance between health, image, and online influence.
