Mugithi star Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, has spoken out following sexual assault allegations filed against him in the High Court.
In a cryptic post on social media on Tuesday September 2, 2025, the musician wrote: “A spine that bends to threats will never stand tall in freedom.” The statement came just hours after a woman identified as M.R.W filed a petition accusing him of assaulting her during his 2021 U.S. tour.
According to court documents, the alleged incident occurred on November 28, 2021, at an Airbnb in Overland Park, Kansas. The accuser claims she resisted his advances but was sexually assaulted. She further alleges to have audio recordings of Samidoh admitting to the act.
The case, filed before Justice Lawrence Mugambi, also names the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Inspector General of Police, the DCI, the Attorney General, and the Witness Protection Agency, accusing them of failing to act on her earlier reports.
The woman now seeks court orders to preserve digital evidence, bar any contact from the singer, and place her under witness protection.
Samidoh has not directly addressed the allegations but his post suggests a stance of defiance.
