TRUMP MOVES TO REVOKE VISAS OF FOREIGNERS WHO CELEBRATED CHARLIE KIRK’S DEATH

The United States has begun revoking visas of foreign nationals accused of publicly celebrating the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
According to a statementTuesday September 16, 2025, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio directed consular officials to cancel visas of foreigners who “mocked or glorified” the killing. He warned that anyone already in the United States who engaged in such conduct “should prepare to be deported,” while those abroad would be denied entry.
Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau earlier expressed outrage at online posts making light of Kirk’s death and urged the public to report such content to authorities.
The State Department has not disclosed how many visas have been revoked or provided names of those affected. Legal analysts caution that the move could face free-speech and due-process challenges.
Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative commentator and founder of the youth movement Turning Point USA, was killed last week in a high-profile shooting that has drawn condemnation across the political spectrum.
