KENYA SET TO RECEIVE AID FROM TYCOON, WARREN BUFFET

Is finally a relief to Kenya after the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, a charity based firm chaired and founded by Warren Buffett, sets to finance the 2025/26 Kenyan budget with a Ksh.3.8 billion grant .
The National Treasury has confirmed that these donations will focus on improving the medical services and healthcare in the nation.

The grant steps in to cover for the foreign aid freezed by US President , Donald Trump . Trump cut all aid from the US , upon assuming office terming it as part of his holistic move to reduce on their expenditure.

The most affected was the health sector following the seize of drug supply for HIV and TB patients by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
However, this grant would significantly fill the vacancy created by the USAID cut.
