MILEY CYRUS AMONG ARTISTS SET TO RECIEVE STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

Miley Cyrus, Josh Groban, Lyle Lovett and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are among the music stars who are set to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the coming year. They, along with 31 other names from the worlds of recordings, motion pictures, television, live theater/live performance and sports entertainment, were announced at a live press conference from Ovation Hollywood on Wednesday July 2 2025.
Six Grammy winners are set to be honored; Cyrus, Lovett, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Clark Sisters, Intocable and Angélique Kidjo. So are three actors who received plaudits for playing music legends in films: Timothée Chalamet, who was Oscar-nominated for playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown; Rami Malek, who won an Oscar for playing Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody; and Marion Cotillard, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. Mercury received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame posthumously, along with the surviving members of Queen, in 2002.
Two stars will be presented posthumously; British director/producer Tony Scott and Italian special effects artist Carlo Ramboldi. Both died in 2012. Scott’s older brother, fellow director Ridley Scott, received a star in 2015.
Miley Cyrus is set to be the first person born in the 1990s to receive a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. This recognition celebrates her extensive career from her beginnings in Nashville to her status as a global music icon.
