Kenyan forex trader and social media personality Raymond Omosa, popularly known as the Kenyan Prince, has taken aim at the United States government and Interpol, daring the international agencies to arrest him amid growing online discussions surrounding alleged financial fraud involving Kenyan nationals.
Omosa, who is reportedly staying in Dubai, made the remarks in videos shared on social media on Saturday, October 31, 2026, where he dismissed speculation surrounding his possible involvement in international investigations and insisted that his business activities were legitimate.
In one of the clips, he directly challenged Interpol to locate and arrest him, describing the international policing agency as cowardly.
"Interpol are cowards. I dare Interpol: if they have muscles and they are not cowards, they should come for me here. I am chilling in Dubai," he said.
He subsequently extended the challenge to the US government under President Donald Trump, questioning why authorities had not moved against him if they believed he had committed any wrongdoing.
"Interpol, you guys are cowards. You and the US government under Trump—if you think I have done something wrong, come get me. You cannot come for me because I'm legit," Omosa added.
His remarks come as American authorities intensify investigations into an alleged multimillion-dollar student financial aid fraud network involving individuals in Kenya and the United States.
The investigation, conducted under an operation dubbed Ghostbusters, targets individuals accused of using stolen American identities to submit fraudulent applications through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) programme.
According to the US Department of Justice, the alleged network created fictitious student accounts to obtain government-funded loans and grants, with the resulting refunds channelled into accounts controlled by individuals involved in the scheme.
On October 29, 2026, the department announced charges against five defendants in three federal districts and the seizure of more than $750,000 in cryptocurrency linked to a network associated with Kenyan nationals.
Investigators also identified more than 830,000 potentially fraudulent student aid identification numbers associated with nearly $130 million, while estimating that the wider scheme could involve losses exceeding $200 million.
The developments have generated considerable discussion online, with some social media users drawing links between the investigations and the lavish lifestyles displayed by several young Kenyan forex traders.
However, neither the US Department of Justice nor Interpol has publicly identified Omosa as a suspect in the investigations or announced an arrest warrant against him.
The latest confrontation also recalls the 2024 Operation Serengeti, a joint Interpol and Afripol crackdown on cybercrime that resulted in more than 1,000 arrests across Africa, including approximately 24 Kenyans linked to an online credit card fraud network associated with losses estimated at $8.6 million.
Following the arrests, Omosa had previously dismissed online speculation surrounding his possible involvement, sarcastically remarking that he had moved beyond dealing with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and was now dealing with Interpol.
"I've already moved past dealing with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). Now I'm with Interpol, and they still haven't caught me! Bring in the CIA now," he wrote at the time.
Despite the renewed attention, Omosa has continued to publicly attribute his wealth to forex trading, frequently showcasing luxury vehicles, expensive purchases and an affluent lifestyle on his social media platforms.
His latest remarks have once again placed him at the centre of online conversations about the sources of his wealth.
